GIFTS INSTRUCTIONS & TIPS

The birthday is approaching, or Christmas is just around the corner, and you got the present? Then you have already passed the first hurdle! Now all you have to do is wrap your present, but you are not exactly a wrapping professional? This is no longer a problem because these step by step instructions will now help you wrap gifts.

Wrapping gifts the necessary basics

·         Wrapping paper

·         Gift ribbon

·         duct tape

·         scissors

·         Masking tape

Make sure the wrapping paper is suitable for the size of the gift. Usually, a wrapping paper roll and custom boxes wholesale has the standard size of 200 x 70 cm. So, if the gift is not excessively large, this should be enough. The right gift ribbon, which should not be missing, can usually be found in the craft shop next to the wrapping paper. It doesn't matter which one you choose elegant ribbon, paper ribbon, or polyester ribbon.

Very important: remove the price tag from the gift! Otherwise, this could lead to an embarrassing situation when unpacking. In addition, you don't want a subliminal hint to reach the recipient.

Create enough space to wrap gifts

You'd better put away your cup of coffee or laptop before you start. These only take up the space that you urgently need now. The spilled coffee on the new gift certainly doesn't look so good either.

After making sure there is enough space on your desk (the floor is also very suitable), you can start right away!

Wrapping a gift: step by step instructions

Step 1: roll out the wrapping paper

Unroll the wrapping paper, making sure that the surface is flat and clean. Then place the product on the face of the paper.

Step 2: cut the wrapping paper.

Before cutting, there should be enough space left and right so that the paper completely covers the edge.

Step 3: find the center.

Now the middle should be found. The distance left, and right, and above and below must be identical so that the packaging later looks the same.

Step 4: fold the edge.

To create a clean and beautiful edge, it is advantageous to fold it once beforehand.

On the other hand, the upper edge is folded over and fixed to the lower half with an adhesive strip.

Step 7: turn the package

Now the package is turned, and the sides are wrapped. Again, it is best to smooth the upper edge slightly.

Step 13: fix the edge.

Now fix the edge with one or two adhesive strips. Carry on with the other side in the same manner.

Step 14: choose a gift ribbon.

Now it's the turn of the gift ribbons. Again, a white or dark brown is particularly suitable in our example.

Step 15: choose the middle of the ribbon

Cut off a generous piece, making sure to place the center of the ribbon on the center of the package.

Step 16: rotate while holding

The package is now carefully turned over while holding the ribbon tightly.

Step 17: swap sides and drag

Swap the sides of the ribbon and gently pull on both strands.

Step 18: cross over and pull.

Now cross the two sides and pull the right side up and the left side down.

Step 19: rotate while holding.

Carefully turn the package over again, ensuring that both sides of the ribbon are held with your thumbs.

Step 20: pull through

Now pull the gift ribbon from above or below towards the middle and under the middle ribbon.

Step 21: tie the knot

Now a knot can be made, if necessary, even two. However, it is well known that double is better.

Step 22: bow as a gift decoration

If there is enough ribbon left, you can use it to tie a bow for decoration. Scissors can be used to trim the projecting ends.
